Cost Accounting Manager
Job Description
This position will manage the
reporting of proper costing and reporting inventory and manufacturing
activities. Responsibilities: . Provide guidance and supervision to cost
accounting staff. . Prepare accurate summarized financial Provide . Provide
information for management, government agencies, outside auditors, and others as
required. . Assure inventory accuracy through analysis and plant audits. .
Prepare analysis of manufacturing standards. Prepare analysis of manufacturing
variances from standards. . Continuous evaluation of cost and financial systems,
and make recommendations for improvement.
Required Experience
Minimum Requirements: . B.S.
degree in Accounting/Finance . 5-7 years cost accounting experience . Working
knowledge of automated cost accounting and financial systems (MAPICS preferred,
but other ERP systems accepted) Direct hire position. Please no agencies,
