Treasury Specialist TPHA
Position Summary:  The position is responsible for providing support to the Treasury team in back office activities, reporting and analytical tasks. The Treasury Specialist will work closely with all levels of management and external counterparties to ensure the integrity of the cash management system for North America. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced organization. He/She will excel in working independently and as part of an integrated Treasury team.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for preparing daily cash results for all bank accounts.  Tasks include reporting of Group Cash Positions; calculating analyzing and distributing daily cash positions. Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts. Maintain and monitor all Treasury and Banking systems and assist with all Treasury product implementations.

 

2. Responsible for month end close activities including:  Reconciliation of cash spreadsheets, preparing journal entries, Cash Pool Allocator reconciliation and entries, interest entries, organize and distribute bank statements, account analysis and other responsibilities as the business dictates.

 

3. Review of all ACH debit payments, initiate all wire domestic and international wire transfers. Liaison between AP and Treasury to ensure accurate recording of disbursement of funds.

 

4. Prepare cash flow analysis and business modeling; Manage, track, and analyze financial reports.

 

5. Responsible for the preparation of the investment portfolio performance analysis: including investment instruments, rate of return and maturity. Review investment policy regularly for compliance.  Assist in investment economic trends and market data analysis.

 

6. Administer and maintain all internal collection and disbursement studies to maximize cash liquidity position.

 

7. Maintenance of all Bank Accounts with Counterparties: open and close accounts, change signers, maintain LOC documents and Trust/Escrow documents.

 

8.  Analyze the counterparty (Bank) credit exposures monthly to effectively control risk and minimizing losses.

 

9. Act as back up and support to other Treasury team members as necessary.

 

Travel Requirements   Limited domestic travel

 

Education Required:  Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.

 

 

 

Experience Required: 2+ years Treasury or Corporate Finance experience.

 

Experience Preferred:  Experience with cash management and cash forecasting, 3+ years Treasury experience.

 

Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:

 Word, Excel, Treasury Workstation, Oracle 11i or current version preferred. CTP "Certified Treasury Professional" Preferred.
