Gale Morrison - Tarvos Technologies
At our meeting, Gale will speak on the topic of Productivity Improvement for Finance and Accounting. This interactive session will touch on common bottlenecks and time sinks in EPM today, and some options for identifying them, quantifying them and resolving them. Her talk will also touch on efficiencies inherent in cloud-based software as a service, especially as it relates to engagements between Finance/Accounting and the IT professionals responsible for Business Systems.
Gale Morrison is the director of sales and marketing for Tarvos Technologies, a Host Analytics partner company, based in North Wales. She works with Tarvos' practice lead and technical team to help Finance and Accounting organizations looking to modernize their approach to enterprise performance management, or EPM. EPM encompasses an organization's consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic planning functions, in terms of process, people and technology.
Prior to her work in the EPM software space, Gale spent eight years on Wall Street working with Chartered Financial Analysts (CFAs) on the buy side and sell side to analyze and model public company earnings and the resulting stock performance. She also organized road shows for C-level and investor relations executives to meet institutional portfolio managers and talk about their financial and stock performance, capital structure and funding needs.
