Jerry Mitnik - Executive Recruiter, The Dublin Group

The Employment Outlook will be discussed for both new graduates and seasoned accountants looking to make a change.  We  will be discussing how to interview, what questions to ask, where to search for jobs and much much more.  Job hunting is certainly not what it used to be.  From what we can see, employment hiring is picking up and it's not an employer's market any more.

Jerry Mitnick

Jerry's career began in the Hospitality Industry in 1985.  Jerry was a Food Service Director for restaurants and hotels and then a General Manager for numerous high-end country clubs and resorts.  Over the 20 years in the Hospitality industry, Jerry honed his customer service skills.  Throughout his career, Jerry has recruited, hired and trained thousands of employees at all levels in the Hospitality Industry.  Jerry transitioned into the Staffing world in 1999.

 

As the General Manager of a Hospitality Staffing firm, Jerry used his industry knowledge and customer service skills to grow the firm into the highest volume hospitality staffing firm in the Tri-State area.  Through his networking abilities, Jerry was not only placing hospitality professionals he was sourcing Food & Beverage Controllers and General Managers.

 

Jerry was recruited away and was offered a Business Development role with a small start-up family owned accounting & finance staffing firm focusing on direct hire and long-term consulting requisitions.  Jerry was in this role for 7 years and in 2014 was recruited away by The Dubin Group.  The Dubin Group has been in business since 1998 and is a boutique staffing firm helping companies of all industries, shapes and sizes find the best possible talent "fit" for their teams and make the most perfect candidate "match" to fulfill their staffing needs.  Jerry is now an Executive Recruiter supporting all level finance and accounting professionals in all industries.
